casement window

Casement windows offer top to bottom unobstructed views, structural integrity and wide open ventilation. They are hinged on the side so the sash swings outward, either left or right depending on your needs. These windows open up to 90 degrees so you can easily clean both sides of the glass from the inside plus you get an easily removable screen. The aluminum frames are thermally broken and have an exterior slopped sill for water runoff.

Our Awning windows have a sash that swings out and upwards and are hinged at the top. Our Awning windows open up to 45 degrees from the bottom letting air circulate freely while providing a protective shield to keep rain out. They come with an easily removable screen.

Push out window

Push out casement windows provide old-world style with simple operation – just pull the lock handle up and push the window out. Stainless steel hinges allow this window to open up to 60°. These windows offer not only a simple operation but reduce the problems sometimes associated with crank out windows where the crank handle fails.

Tilt and Turn windows are the most versatile when it comes to ventilation and fresh air. They offer two opening positions: one where you can tilt your window inside, or just rotate it so that there’s an exposed panel for easy cleaning access; this European design allows much better versatility. These windows are incredibly durable and easy to maintain.

Tilt and turn windows from Alumiro are the perfect choice for a variety of reasons. First, they offer superior ventilation. You can open the top of the window to let in fresh air, while still keeping the bottom closed.

Window Walls from Alumiro are exactly what the words suggest, it is a wall made up of only windows. These walls can be made up of sections with an aluminum frame surrounding them which could cover one wall entirely or up to three floors of a home.

Curtain walls are a style of building facade that is used in modern commercial construction today. These walls could be a clear one piece of thermal glass up to 7.3 m wide (24 feet) and 3.05 m high (10 feet) or usually have aluminum frames that can fit different materials between these frames. We offer glass as the primary material that fills the aluminum frames which provides a clean open look reflecting the buildings surroundings.

WHY CHOOSE ALUMIRO FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT?

Alumiro’s Aluminium frames offer 4 key advantages over wood and uPVC that make it the ideal choice for beautiful window or door frames:

  • High strength
  • Excellent thermal efficiency
  • Low maintenance
  • Style

High Strength

Aluminium is the strongest material used to manufacture window and door frames.
Aluminium’s integral strength means the material will not be affected by changes in temperature and will not:

  • Flex
  • Twist
  • Expand
  • Contract

Excellent Thermal Efficiency

With our thermal break our frames are highly thermally efficient.
Our thermal break prevents the conductive properties of metal transferring cold in or heat out of the home. Aluminum window frames offer high levels of wind, water, and air-tightness, which also means exceptional energy efficiency.

  1. Thermally break for energy efficiency, less conductivity of cold or heat
  2. Tested for wind, air, water and structural performance
  3. Certified by NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) and AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association)
  4. Powder coated colours for long life and less fading

Low Maintenance

Aluminium window and door frames require the least amount of maintenance. Aluminium windows only require cleaning with warm soapy water in order to keep them looking clean. Alumiro’s aluminium window and door frames are powder coated, which means they don’t need to be repainted and the colour won’t fade over time. Powder coated aluminium also does not corrode, discolour, rot or warp.
Style Beautiful slim frames and multiple colour finish options make aluminium windows and doors an extremely stylish choice.
Aluminium window and door frames are available with powder coated colours that give a flawlessly smooth finish creating windows of the highest quality.
Aluminium windows are available in a range of styles to suit your creativity, including casement, awning, push out plus tilt and turn windows. Aluminum is also extremely flexible and can be shaped and bent giving you unlimited freedom to design.

Most window manufacturers use 3, 4 or 5mm glass, at alumiro we only use 6mm glassin our windows and doors ensuring a stronger window which gives you lower energycosts and better security as well as significantly reducing noise levels.

  • 6mm tempered glass is 5X stronger than 6mm regular glass
  • Better noise reduction
  • It is less likely to bow or warp under high stress
  • Higher security and less costly
  • Higher energy savings

Low-e glass is created by depositing a microscopically thin, transparent metal ormetallic oxide layer on the glass. When the interior heat energy tries to escape to thecolder outside during the winter, the low-e coating reflects the heat back to the inside, reducing the radiant heat loss through the glass. The reverse happens during thesummer.

Advantages:

  • Energy Efficiency, reduces heat loss by up to 50%
  • Long term cost saving, decreases heating expenses
  • Does not reduce natural daylight or transparency
  • Ensures maximum benefit from solar heat
  • Protects against UV radiation by over 68% reducing aging and fading effects

An argon filled window is a double or triple glazed window that is filled with argon gasbetween each pane. Argon gas thermal conductivity is approximately 67% lower thanair which reduces the u-value of double or triple glazed windows even further. Argon isa colourless, odourless gas, and is not harmful in any way it is a non-reactive, inert gas. This ensures that the windows and doors will stay effective for a longer amount of time(20+ years).

Optional triple glazing offers excellent energy efficiency along with durability and soundproofing. Triple glazing offers three panes of glass with a non-conductive spacerbetween each pane which is filled with argon gas providing a better thermal layer andhigher performance. Our triple glazed product also comes with low-e coating.

We have a broad range of standard colours available for your windows or doors: black, white, dark brown, charcoal grey plus over 200 special colours which are available onrequest. This allows you to match you windows and doors seamlessly.
